MedScope America Corporation is a privately held medical alert company based in Pennsylvania. They provide PERS devices (Personal Emergency Response System) and value-added services to care givers to help keep at-risk patients safe out of hospital.
Individuals with mobility, severe physical, or balance disabilities use the most appropriate PERS device to be self-tested and diagnosed automatically. In case of any emergency, they just press the alert button. MedScope’s operators process all the calls and stay online until the nearest local physician or emergency personnel arrives.
MedScope deals with alert device suppliers, installers, courier delivery and postal services, care givers and patients from coast to coast. The customer was using Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the management of their data and workflows, which lacked some specific entities. Besides, there was a need to automate some routine tasks and digitize big data management to achieve care delivery efficiency.
We started our work on the project with the MS Dynamics CRM customizations to align all the workflows with MedScope’s real-time activities. Then we proceeded with the development and integration of the dedicated portals for MedScope’s employees, clients, partners, installers and patients. There’s a two-way data synchronization between the CRM system and portals.
The project with MedScope is ongoing for there are always numerous changes in business operations. So far, EffectiveSoft has made about 60% of all the Microsoft Dynamics customizations and developed all the portals from the ground up. A significant amount of internal and external tasks were automated, which means faster PERS and care delivery, hence – patients satisfaction.
