Customer & challenge
Acronis is a leading backup software, disaster recovery, and secure data access provider to consumers, small-medium businesses, and enterprises. Back in 2014, the customer was looking for an experienced cloud software development company to guide the development of the Cloud Backup Storage platform. The solution was expected to back up everything (disks, partitions, servers, mobile devices) and recover anything (files, folders, applications, or even the entire system) quickly and easily.
Acronis was impressed by our in-depth technology knowledge acquired in Cloud Automation Platform project and eagerly contracted EffectiveSoft to create the front-end for Cloud Backup Storage.
What & how we did
Since the solution was to be scalable and compatible with many forms of data, OSes, applications and web-browsers, we opted for Ext JS framework. It has everything we needed to build data-intensive and cross-platform solution that is easy to use and customize: high-performance UX design components, rich data analytics, data-driven visualization, rebrandable themes, responsive configs, and many more.
