We talked to Anna about her journey to becoming a global HR director and her HR strategy within EffectiveSoft.

Anna, we are pleased to welcome you to the EffectiveSoft team! Could you share your journey to becoming a global HR leader?

I wish my journey had been like a fairy tale, transforming me into a leader with the wave of a magic wand. In reality, growth and development take years of dedication and continuous learning. Every step of my career has naturally led me to my role as a global HR leader.

My entire experience has been with technology companies—both service- and product-driven. I have always dived deep into the details while maintaining a high-level perspective, ensuring alignment with the company’s larger vision. Thinking on a global scale is never easy—it requires constant trade-offs and balancing local decisions with global long-term strategic goals. With every small step, every discussion, and even every mistake, I’ve learned to navigate these complexities.

How has your experience in technology companies shaped your approach to HR?

Partnering with engineers has always been an inspiring experience. They challenge the status quo, prioritize efficiency, and are relentless in their pursuit of well-architected, scalable solutions. In that sense, we speak the same language.

I approach HR with the same mindset—embracing innovation, designing adaptable strategies, and building future-ready, scalable HR frameworks that evolve with the business. Just like in technology, true impact doesn’t come from quick fixes but from well-structured, sustainable systems that empower people and fuel long-term growth.

What does it mean to be an HR Director at a technology company? How do you define success in your role?

Over the past five years, the business environment has evolved at a remarkable pace. Our clients are also facing the complexities of rapid transformation and digitalization, exploring new niches and product opportunities. With this in mind, I focus on fostering collaboration across different expert fields within the company, strengthening our ability to innovate, disrupt, and anticipate the skills our clients will need in the future.

When it comes to the metrics that matter most to me, success is clear and measurable. It’s about building high-performing teams for our clients in weeks, ensuring a high level of employee engagement, and keeping voluntary turnover low.

How do you envision the future of EffectiveSoft from an HR perspective?

This is both a simple and a complex question. I want the company to grow, ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to their success. That’s the straightforward part. The challenge lies in how to achieve this. I think sustainable growth depends on agility—the ability to quickly adapt to changes and refine our approach in a timely manner to deliver the best service and support our clients’ future success. That’s what we should strive for.

As an HR leader, what values do you prioritize in your work at EffectiveSoft?

I believe in people and their potential. Curiosity, dedication, professionalism, and empathy are values that guide me every day. I genuinely believe that every voice matters—and that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected. That’s the foundation for trust, collaboration, and fresh ideas.

I also value the courage to think big and outside the box. That kind of mindset drives innovation and leads to the tech solutions the world needs today. Personally, I love to explore, experiment, and stay open to new ideas. It’s how I was raised—to stay curious and look at the world with open eyes. And I still believe in that approach.
