From May 15 to 23, EffectiveSoft brought together teams from across the USA, Costa Rica, and Poland for a global AI hackathon focused on a shared goal: building practical AI solutions capable of solving real business and engineering challenges.
In just one week, 14 cross-functional teams made up of 64 experts—engineers, project managers, business analysts, designers, HR, and marketing professionals—advanced ideas into working solutions. Several projects became mature enough to be considered for real client and internal use.
Teams from Costa Rica and the U.S.
The hackathon centered on agentic AI and automation, with teams exploring how AI can improve workflows, reduce repetitive work, accelerate development, and simplify complex operational processes.
The result was a set of brilliant solutions. The first-place project was an AI app creation framework that enables teams to build AI-powered working application prototypes in minutes. Other top solutions tackled challenges such as automating database testing, improving access to project knowledge, enhancing localization QA, and streamlining data workflows.
Teams from Poland
Beyond the winners, several teams were recognized for innovation, strong technical architecture, intellectual property potential, and readiness for client deployment.
Proud of this team. That’s them, not the AI. The AI just helped compress a quarter of work into a week.

More than just a competition, the hackathon created space for collaboration across roles and locations, giving teams a chance to validate ideas, prove concepts, and turn them into hands-on examples. With strong results and momentum already building, EffectiveSoft is now looking ahead to its next hackathon.
