Client
Our client is a leading provider of innovative Subscription Billing and Customer Relationship Management solutions for pay-TV operators (IPTV, VOD/OTT providers – Digital Terrestrial Television, Digital Satellite Television, Digital Cable Television, Hybrid Television). The subscription billing and CRM (SB&CRM) platform simplifies scaling and improves interaction with customers and prospects.
One of the foreign pay-TV operators willing to establish its own SB&CRM solution has chosen the solution of our client. To adopt it, the operator requested to customize all system levels. Our engineers together with other remote teams took the challenge.
Solution
CRM software allows monitoring the company’s KPIs and keeping track of all interactions with customers. The subscription configuration system helps to tailor offers to the needs of subscribers and easily manage multiple price variations, including multi-currency support and payment frequency.
In the course of the project, the team at EffectiveSoft proficiently accomplished the following tasks:
- Migrated the system to the cloud leveraging Amazon EC2 for resizable compute capacity and Amazon S3 for backups and data storage.
- Created the project’s Git repository for version control and easy access when needed.
- Implemented multi-role system access (company head, distributor, retailer, etc.)
- Developed an advanced notifications system.
- Customized the system features (including subscription billing and payment, device management, etc.).
- Performed thorough testing of the customized system (including unit, regression, and cross-platform test cases) to ensure that the software operates well after the customization.
