We are currently seeking an independent, commission only, outside sales representative to manage our customers in the East Coast region.

The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding the defined sales plan for their region by developing the territory and services that are appropriate for the territory. He or she is expected to develop new customers.
We are currently recruiting for our East Coast region.
This is a remote position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Planning
-Defines target companies and individual properties; develops knowledge of prospects.
-Works with the VP of Business Development to develop the revenue for the territory to which he or she is assigned.
2. Prospecting and Customer Development
-Actively seeks out prospects within target companies through cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
-Monitors customer purchasing patterns and takes action to preserve and grow customer relationships.
-Develops presentations appropriate for the services being presented and the audience. Promptly follows up on leads.
-Travels as required to visit key customers and prospects.
-Conducts sales presentations for customers and prospects.
-Actively communicates about opportunities with the VP of Business Development to obtain advice and direction concerning customer and prospect opportunities.
-Coordinates quotations development based upon established procedures and obtains required approvals.
-Monitors and follows up on proposals.
-Closes deals and completes all required customer setup paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
3. Sales Reporting
-Prepares and presents periodic, timely sales reports as required by company policy that accurately portray actual results vs. the sales plan.
-Monitors his or her progress against his or her plan and takes whatever action is necessary to ensure the overall achievement of the sales plan.
-Assesses his or her service offering knowledge; participates in training programs to increase effectiveness.
-Provides market intelligence to the VP of Business Development as a basis for service offering strategy and research and development recommendations.
-Maintains professional, cooperative relationships with current customers, prospects, influencers and other company personnel.
-Complies with corporate policies and procedures.
Five years of commercial outside sales experience, preferably in the IT industry. Knowledge of Trading or Healthcare business is a plus.
Other Skills and Experience:
Expertise in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other tools.
Ability to deal tactfully with subordinates, peers, suppliers and customers.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
