Healthcare Employee Communication Portal is a content management system designed especially for clinical and administrative staff in hospitals. The solution allows for secure publishing, sharing and accessing information and can be used for all aspects of employee and physician communications.
Simple and secure information management
The portal enables administrative staff and physicians to access and manage all administrative information and documentation.
Online forms and workflows
The system allows electronically managing forms for supply replenishments, meeting room request, feedback, application submission, survey, and many others. All forms are automatically stored in a secure searchable database.
The portal provides social tools that facilitate communication within hospital: chat, news feeds, blogs, user profiles, and user comments.
There are a number of group-specific calendars for departments, committees, and etc. with the ability to create recurring events and color coding.
Training and Education module
The module enables class registration, attendance, and performance tracking. It also can be used for the publishing a variety of training media from white papers to videos.
From the user’s perspective, Healthcare Portal is a set of pages. Individual users can view pages after they have been granted view rights to the page. View and edit rights are assigned via security roles and the user must be a member of the assigned role to view or edit the page.
The customer needed help in developing an employee communication portal for hospitals. Though project had already been started by another team, major changes were required to improve portal’s look and performance.

Using .net 4.0, c#, JS, jQuery, T-Sql Telerik, MS SQl Server 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and other technologies and tools EffectiveSoft successfully accomplished the following tasks:
