The development team was provided with functional and design requirements and developed the app from scratch, where:
- The app was programmed in Java with the usage of Android SDK and Eclipse.
- To optimize the app usability, the data displayed on the screen (account information, invoices, FAQs, news) are cashed into the local (mobile) SQLite database so that recent information is available in the off-line mode as well.
- There's integrated real-time analytics service that helps the mobile provider to track how the users interact with the app. All users' interactions with the app, such as app launch, login etc.) are logged into the Omniture platform.
- SMS technology is used for device and system management, data exchange, alerts and notification
The entire development run in parallel with testing. As a result, the customer received a secure and fully workable solution that was delivered according to time and budget commitments. Impressed by the technical expertise of the development team, the customer decided to delegate the tasks for the next project phase iPhone app development.
